Course Description

In lieu of a thesis Project, the Multimedia Arts student is engaged in a Multimedia Production Project from the array of multimedia disciplines he/she has acquired expertise in the course. The course is the last phase of the Multim Series. This course will assist the student in the post-production phase of their project. Assist them in composing their documentation papers and prepare them for their final panel defense.

The multimedia Arts student is envisioned to be proficient in conceptualization, adapt with the integration of various multimedia disciplines and is technically skilled. As much the Multim Series (MSCIETY, MMAPROJ 1 & 2) is designed to become a vehicle for this showcase of proficiency.

Course Objective

At the end of this course the student is expected o manifest the following as per Blooms Taxonomy

  1. Knowledge To identify the various stages of a Multimedia Project
  2. Comprehension To understand and differentiate various communication and multimedia theories
  3. Application To apply (a particular) theory (or set of theories) in conceptualizing the Multimedia Project
  4. Analysis To explore the various communication tools available and create original sound concepts to deliver unique thought provoking, marketable and competitive multimedia products
  5. Synthesis To fully integrate and synthesize concepts and ideas with technical skills during pre-production
  6. Evaluation To appreciate one’s work on industry standards (aesthetically and objectively) in the exercise of critical thinking.
